Healthy volunteers wanted for a movie-watching study of language and emotion.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate different methods for assessing language comprehension and expression in adults with different types and severity of language deficits and adults with no language deficits. The results of the study will help the researchers identify the tests and stimuli that elicit better language performance in individuals with different types of language deficits. The ultimate goal is to improve the clinical paradigm for language mapping in the brain for patients who are candidates for brain surgery.
